Meet Dr. Martin, DC cAVCA

I’m Dr. Aidan Martin, a Doctor of Chiropractic and AVCA-certified animal chiropractor with a lifelong passion for helping animals live healthier, more comfortable, and active lives.

Raised by two veterinarians, animals have always been a major part of my life. From an early age, I learned the importance of compassion, patience, and advocating for animals who cannot tell us when something is wrong. That lifelong connection ultimately led me to animal chiropractic.

My approach focuses on each animal as an individual, evaluating their movement and biomechanics to identify areas of restriction or dysfunction and support improved mobility and function.

Whether working with a family pet, working animal, athlete, or aging companion, my goal is simple: to help animals move better, feel better, and enjoy a better quality of life.

For me, animal chiropractic is more than a career—it is a lifelong passion and an opportunity to give every animal the same care and dedication I would want for my own.

Our Philosophy

At Happy Tails Animal Chiropractic, our mission is simple: to help animals move, feel, and function at their very best.

Animals cannot tell us exactly where they hurt or what they need, so it is my responsibility to listen to what their bodies are telling us. Through careful evaluation, I look for restrictions and areas of dysfunction within the joints and musculoskeletal system that may be affecting an animal's movement, comfort, and overall function.

What is Chiropractic care?

Chiropractic care is a drug-free, effective approach to care that helps animals move more comfortably and enjoy a better quality of life in their everyday activities.

Animal chiropractic is about more than simply addressing a particular area of discomfort. When a joint is restricted and not moving properly, it can affect the way the surrounding muscles, joints, and nervous system function. By restoring appropriate joint motion, chiropractic care can help improve range of motion, reduce discomfort, support proper nervous system function and communication, and allow the body to move more naturally.

Chiropractic adjustments works on restoring proper joint motion and function. By addressing joint restrictions, our goal is to restore range of motion, reduce pain and discomfort, support healthy nervous system function and communication, and allow the body to move as naturally as it was designed to.

In accordance with Florida law, a signed veterinary referral from the animal’s licensed veterinarian is required before any animal chiropractic evaluation or treatment can take place. No animal will be evaluated or treated without a completed and signed veterinary referral.

If you do not already have a veterinary referral, Happy Tails Animal Chiropractic can, upon request, email your veterinarian a referral request for their review and signature. The veterinarian will determine whether chiropractic care is appropriate for your animal and whether a referral should be provided.

Animal chiropractic care is intended to complement, not replace, conventional veterinary medical care. Chiropractic evaluation and treatment do not substitute for diagnosis, treatment, emergency care, or other medical services provided by a licensed veterinarian.
